SwingShift and the Stars is an inventive performance competition, but more than that, it is a platform for area nonprofits to gain awareness, foster new relationships and raise much-needed funds for their organizations. This season, 8 nonprofits with the support of their business champions and local celebrities will join in on the fun! 100% of your donation dollars (envelope received at the door) go directly to the organization of your choice.
Opportunities for online giving are also available and strongly encouraged throughout the season. Donate to your charity of choice.

Christ’s Hope International is dedicated to caring for AIDS-affected, orphaned, and vulnerable children in Sub-Saharan Africa. Our model focuses on meeting the educational, physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the children that we serve, equipping them to remain in families and become CYCLEBREAKERS. From our humble beginnings in a small town in Namibia, Christ’s Hope International now cares for over 1,300 children in 28 Ministry CarePoints across Africa.
22-2-NONE is a non-profit organization lead by a board of fellow veterans who work to raise awareness and provide support to combat veteran suicide. Our organization was created to help keep our brothers and sisters in arms safe by lending a hand, offering a listening ear or being a shoulder to lean on when needed. We are excited to participate in SwingShift and the Stars because raising awareness to veteran suicide is important but, getting the community involved both physically and financially is how we will be able to make the biggest impact in a veteran’s life and help them to continue “Fighting The Fight Within”.
The Children's House prepares a Montessori learning environment that supports and respects the development of each unique child and nurtures them to become independent, curious, lifelong learners who strive to contribute to their communities and the greater world. By utilizing the developmental learning philosophy created by Dr. Montessori, we inspire the child's curiosity and help them find answers. A strong Traverse area partner, we are valued for providing an exceptional educational option for families and children of all ages. We are excited to be a part of SwingShift and the Stars because we are excited to share our mission, our efforts and our story with the greater Traverse City community!
