NWS has paired two of our literary faves: Susan Orlean, the New York Times bestselling author of Orchid Thief, and host Susan Strainchamp, the heady interviewer of To the Best of Our Knowledge on NPR.  They’ll talk about The Library Book that weaves Susan’s love of libraries with her tale of the massive 1986 fire at the Los Angeles Public Library. Cash bar, Morsels and music at 6 pm; event at 7pm.
