Meet Alice Waters, owner of Chez Panisse and arguably America’s most influential chef. She’ll talk about Coming to My Senses, a memoir about growing up in the suburbs and moving to Berkeley, California, where she opened her restaurant at age 27 (pub date Sept. 5, 20% off at Horizon Books). Doors open at 6 pm with live music and cash bar. Guest host is Eric Patterson, co-chef of the Cook’s House.
