Hospitality & Beverage Manager
The Hospitality & Beverage Manager is responsible for the successful operation, financial performance, compliance, and guest experience of the City Opera House beverage and concessions program. This position serves as the lead bartender for performances, weddings, rentals, and special events while overseeing all aspects of beverage service, concessions, inventory management, budgeting, staffing, training, sponsorships, and hospitality operations.
The Hospitality & Beverage Manager works closely with renters, wedding clients, promoters, artists, caterers, vendors, and City Opera House staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences while maximizing earned revenue and maintaining full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The successful candidate will be both an operational leader and a business development partner, helping to grow revenue through thoughtful hospitality offerings, community partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities.
Qualifications Required:

Experience managing bar, hospitality, restaurant, catering, or event operations.

Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and beverage service.

Experience supervising employees and managing schedules.

Strong organizational and financial management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Ability to lift and transport inventory and event supplies.

Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications and training.
