THE STORY:

The show follows two lifelong pals, Marvin and Lloyd, as they spend a day in their ice shanty doing everything but catching fish.

• Marvin is a dreamer, anxiously awaiting a visit from a cable TV fishing show host he’s certain will turn him into a regional celebrity.

• Lloyd is the philosopher, currently in the doghouse after suggesting that an anniversary trip to see the Packers play the Bears was the height of romance.

• Ernie the Moocher rounds out the trio, constantly popping in to "borrow" a beer or a snack, while doubling as the host of a hilarious, prize-filled halftime show that puts the audience right in the middle of the action.
