Queen's Coronation Ball and Royal Gala

The National Cherry Queen program has been a festival tradition since the beginning. Many of our Queens have traveled nationally and internationally promoting not only the National Cherry Festival, but also the cherry industry and the Grand Traverse region. Our Queens have presented cherry pies to Presidents, represented the National Cherry Festival at other festivals around the country, and participated in many events year-round. Each year, young ladies from all over Michigan compete for the chance to earn college scholarships, and for the opportunity to be a national spokesperson for the National Cherry Festival and the Cherry Industry.Join us for this awesome evening and meet the four candidates competing to be the 2010/2011 National Cherry Queen.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with hors d'ouevres and a live and silent auction. Program will get underway at 8:00 p.m. with the crowning of the 2010/2011 Queen at 9:00 p.m.
