 The City Opera House Heritage Association wishes to acknowledge and give thanks to the following area businesses and foundations for their recent generous support!

- Cool Cities Grant - $100,000
- Rotary Charities of Traverse City - $60,000
- Traverse City Light & Power - $50,000
- The Frey Foundation - $50,000
- Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs - $27,000
- Robert Robinson Memorial - $25,000
- The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians - $10,000
- The Schmuckal Family Foundation - $10,000
- Alden and Vada Dow Foundation - $10,000
- Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation - $5,000
The $100,000 Cool Cities Grant was matched with $106,000 from the City Opera House Heritage Association, local businesses, patrons and donors. The funds received directly benefited the campaign's goals and restoration recently completed, including:
- Lobby Expansion Project (including Restroom Relocation) & Ceiling
- Balcony Reinforcement, Re-tier Rear Deck & Maple Flooring
- Restoration of Exterior Masonry, Window Refurbishment, Historic Painting & Trim
- Installation of Core Sound Systems
- Professional Theatrical Lighting
- Enhanced Audio Systems
- Video & Projection Equipment
- Communications Systems
- Electrical Connectivity
Components for future restoration include:
- Balance of Decorative Painting, Ceilings & Trim
- Main Lobby Finishes, Vintage Concessionary, Interior Doors/Windows
- Grand Entrance (with lobby elevator), Grand Stair & Two Stair Lobbies
- Two-Story Oriel Window/Marquee
- New and Re-engineered Historic Seating for 730
- Replica Victorian Chandelier
- Dressing Area Finishes and Additional Restrooms
- Catering Equipment
